Scherzo Form

• Replaced Minuet Form form
• Popularized by Ludwig Van Beethoven
• Very similar to Minuet Form
• Scherzo is much faster than Minuet Form
• Much more free than minuet; The second "a" can be very different than the first.
• Often the 3rd of four movements
