Bushman's piece discusses the radical nature of Joseph's "economy of God", arguing that the contraction of hell and expansion of heaven was unique for the time. He also discussed the very radical doctrine of becoming like God, something that other Christians called heretical. We see in D&C 76 the breakdown of Joseph's & Sydney's vision of the kingdoms of glory, and find that even those thrust to hell will be saved (except the Sons of Perdition). The other revelations talk about the mechanics of heaven, such as that spirit is inseparable from heaven.
